Bill Belichick isn’t letting UNC’s latest loss rain on Jordon Hudson’s parade.
One day after the Tar Heels fell to Wake Forest on the road, the first-year UNC football coach supported his 24-year-old girlfriend at a cheerleading competition in Raleigh on Sunday, according to photos shared on social media.
Hudson, a former cheerleader at Bridgewater State University, joined the coed Code Black squad as part of the Cheer Extreme All Stars X Evolution exhibition.

“I didn’t have 73 yo Bill Belichick showing up at a cheer competition to watch his 24 yo gf perform on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are,” X user @deacfan73 wrote Sunday.
Sunday’s event came hours after Belichick’s Tar Heels found themselves on the wrong end of a 28-12 defeat to Wake Forest, which dropped UNC to 4-6 on the season.
The drama continued well after the final whistle, when first-year coach Jake Dickert removed his hat to greet Belichick at midfield, only for the coaching legend to briefly acknowledge his opponent en route to the locker room.

Belichick has constantly reaffirmed his commitment to the program he joined less than a year ago, as speculation has continued to swirl over a potential NFL U-turn.
Just last week, Belichick shut down buzz that he’d entertain the Giants’ head coaching vacancy following Brian Daboll’s firing earlier this month.
“I have great respect and genuinely care for the New York Giants organization and both the Mara and Tisch families,” he wrote in a statement. “The New York Giants played an important role in my life and in my coaching journey.
