MILWAUKEE — The appropriately vaunted Dodgers rotation should give them an edge over anyone and everyone now. They’re that good. The Dodgers have seven viable starters, and the four being employed in their playoff rotation: 1) have huge stuff, 2) are in their primes and 3) are seemingly at their best.

Last October it was just the opposite. Their rotation was a mess. Yet they somehow forged a World Series title out of three iffy (at the time) starters. The Dodgers used four bullpen games a year ago, and won three of them.

“Last year was a miracle,” manager Dave Roberts agreed.

The bullpen, which is their one enormous current issue, saved the Dodgers last October, when their rotation fell apart.
