Jets coach Herman Edwards called injured quarterback Chad Pennington “50-50” yesterday to start against the Eagles Oct. 26 in Philadelphia.

Pennington, who is recuperating from a left wrist fracture, will begin quarterbacking in full team drills tomorrow, meaning he’ll be taking snaps under center and running the team.

Edwards, however, ruled out Pennington starting as early as this Sunday against the Texans.
