It’s time we start looking at CM Punk differently.

It’s been more than a year since his firing from AEW and the Young Bucks mocking him by prancing around the ring in Chicago with their hands held high — a childish gesture that ages worse and worse every day.

It’s been a year since Punk’s stunning return to WWE at Survivor Series in Chicago and it feels like he’s done enough — and we have seen enough from AEW — to begin to change people’s perception of him.

Punk has been a model citizen in WWE, doing some of the best work of his career with Drew McIntyre even while injured.
