The long wait was worth it as CM Punk and Seth Rollins unloaded haymakers in a promo that fans only can hope is a preview of what’s to come in WWE’s Netflix Era.

Punk’s triceps injury at the Royal Rumble cost us this feud and match at WrestleMania 40, and these two didn’t miss a beat.

Nothing was off limits as both men seemed to unleash pent-up anger from the past 10 years as the two finally will clash over a year since their first promo battle when Raw debuts on the streaming platform on Jan 6 — as part of reported 10-year, $5 billion deal.

Rollins went after Punk leaving, alluded to his WWE teardown on Colt Cabana’s podcast and all the other shots he has taken at the company and his failed AEW run to try to say the Best in the World is just in it for the paycheck.
