An Arctic cold front pushing down from Canada, combined with strong gusts howling off Jamaica Bay for a wind-chill factor of 6 degrees that made racing dangerous for horses and their riders, caused Aqueduct to cancel its live card yesterday.

The track remained open for simulcasting and phone betting.

Racing will resume Wednesday. The featured Ruthless Stakes has been rescheduled for next Sunday.
