Met reliever Dennis Cook has proclaimed himself fit and ready for World Series duty.

Cook, who has not given up a run in 16 postseason innings, had been diagnosed with kidney stones and it was unclear whether manager Bobby Valentine would include Cook on the postseason roster at 10 a.m. today. But Cook said he passed one stone and the other shouldn’t keep him from pitching.

“I’m OK. I’ll be able to pitch,” Cook said. “I passed one. I still have another, but the doctor said that shouldn’t keep me from being able to go.”

The 6-foot-3 lefty, who turned 38 earlier this month, won a World Series ring with Florida in 1997. He made three relief appearances for the Marlins, throwing 3 2/3 shutout innings.
