The 4-5-1 Power knew that in order to turn around their season they needed to clamp down on defense. After giving up 15 goals in their first five games, the rebuilt defensive corps took control of the situation and starting limiting opponents’ quality chances. The transformation has left the team beaming with confidence after two consecutive shutouts.

“Our defense has become more patient and more intelligent since the start of the season,” said goaltender Saskia Webber, who will be in net tonight when San Jose (4-5-0) pays a visit to Mitchel Field.
