News:Darren Rovell re-signed with the Action Network on a two-year deal that is for a little more than $2 million in total, according to sources.

Going it alone: With his current contract up, Rovell considered starting the “Nerd Network.” Watching others succeed in building lucrative media platforms around their own brands, Rovell considered going it alone.

“Do I do a Clay Travis or a Dave Portnoy?” Rovell told me he thought.
