Dave Portnoy and Jason Whitlock are immersed in a fiery Twitter war, and it’s getting petty.
On Tuesday, Whitlock, a sports commentator and host for Blaze Media, called out the Barstool Sports founder in an article stating that Portnoy is a “total fraud and sellout.”
Whitlock also said in a Twitter video that Portnoy would be delivering pizza in his native Boston if it weren’t for his wealth.
Portnoy fired back at Whitlock in a series of tweets, calling Whitlock “fat” among other things.
“Dave Portnoy and [former reality star] Andrew Tate are the Al Capone and Lucky Lucciano of masculinity prohibition. Portnoy and Tate bootleg moonshine masculinity across the internet,” Whitlock wrote in the article.
“Portnoy built a sports media empire pretending to be a fearless ESPN disruptor standing against the wokefication of sports and American culture. It’s now clear he’s a total fraud and sellout. His lone interests are money and access to barely legal women. He sold Barstool to a gambling company for hundreds of millions of dollars, and now Barstool is every bit as woke as ESPN,” Whitlock continued — referring to a reported deal last week that Barstool will be fully acquired by Penn Entertainment, a casino and racetrack operator, for $387 million.

Jason Whitlock The BlazePortnoy then tweeted a video of Whitlock from December — in which the “Fearless” host suggested that Portnoy is “the most disruptive and influential force in sports media” — and said “you forgot to delete this one.”
In response to that, Whitlock said, “I used to be a big fan of Howard Stern’s. He sold out, too. That’s what people with no compass besides money do. Colin Kaepernick was my favorite quarterback. I could go on forever about things and people I used to support. People sellout, I move on.”
Portnoy also released a statement that claimed he is “under attack” by critics because he is “brash, not politically correct and has told a few jokes in his day.”
While listing his good deeds, including assisting small businesses, Portnoy added, “Meanwhile Fat Jason Whitlock stuffs his face with food.”
