SAN JOSE — The baby was born too premature, and too small, and the doctors deemed his chances of survival too hopeless.

It is every mother’s worst nightmare: the fate of her newborn resting on a life-and-death decision.

This is the story of Seahawks linebacker Derick Hall, the Miracle Baby of Super Bowl 2026, and Stacy Gooden-Crandle, the proud, loving mother who wouldn’t stop believing in miracles.
