The road warriors play in Montreal tonight with no margin for error. The Devils are still two road victories away from tying the NHL record for road wins (27) in a season, held by the Canadiens. They will have to sweep their remaining three road games (Buffalo Wednesday), (Nashville Saturday) to set a new mark.

Three of the Devils’ walking wounded could return to the lineup tonight – defenseman Lyle Odelein, left wing Jay Pandolfo and center Jason Arnott.

Odelein has missed the last six games with a sprained knee. Arnott has been out two games with a bruised hip. Pandolfo has missed two weeks with a shoulder injury. All three made the trip.

The Devils clinched their third straight Atlantic Division title Thursday night with a 1-0 win over Washington. They are three points behind conference-leading Ottawa.
