With DeWanna Bonner headed to Phoenix, all eyes in the WNBA are on Emma Meesseman. The Liberty are among those eagerly awaiting her decision on where she will play this season.

Meesseman led Belgium to gold in the EuroBasket tournament last month and is weighing her options for a WNBA return.

It may be unprecedented that a player of Meesseman’s caliber is available at this point in the season.

Last season, Gabby Williams was a hot commodity after she starred on the French National Team at the Summer Olympics. But Williams, a first-time All-Star this season, isn’t on the same tier as the 2019 WNBA Finals MVP.
