ESPN will televise the World Baseball Classic, the network and Major League Baseball announced yesterday.

ESPN and ESPN2 will broadcast 16 games, including the semifinals and finals on March 18 and 20. ESPN Deportes, ESPN’s Spanish Language network, will broadcast all 39 games.

The WBC format will be a bracket-style tournament. There will be four divisions and the winners of each division will square off in the semifinals.
