Imagine you’re in the pool of a five-star resort with your significant other. The drinks are flowing, the pool water is crystal blue, and every square inch of the place is covered in perfectly trimmed palm trees, plants and flowers. It’s truly a sight to behold.

There’s only one problem …

You’re hallucinating. It was all a mirage and you’re really just writhing around in the desert sand, holding an empty canteen and occasionally hugging a cactus you believed to be your significant other. You really have no idea where you are or how long you’ve been there, and your skin is beet red.

Everything is not always as it seems on the waiver wire.
