Genie Bouchard had herself a night at the 2022 ESPY Awards on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old tennis player savored every moment of the awards show, where she was joined by pal and fellow athlete Michelle Wie, as well as friend Zach Zumbusch, who lauded “date” Bouchard on Instagram.
“Can we take a moment for my extremely hot plus insanely talented and also the best time ever of a date,” Zach wrote alongside a photo of the pair at the show, to which Bouchard replied, “Omg I [heart] u can we get married.”

Earlier in the evening, Bouchard hit the red carpet outside of the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood with Wie, who announced in May that she’s stepping away from golf.
“Walking da carpet w ur bestie,” Bouchard captioned an Instagram video on Thursday that featured the dynamic duo doing a step-and-repeat.

Bouchard has been traveling across the country this past summer, recently spending time in the Hamptons for the Fourth of July. The Canadian tennis ace, who underwent shoulder surgery last year, previously returned to the court in March for the SoCal Honda Dealers Helpful Cup in California.
That same month, however, reports emerged that she and Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph had split after less than two years of dating. A short time later, she was seen at a music festival in Miami with former Mets pitcher Matt Harvey.
