Claire Kittle has a message for husband George Kittle as the 49ers tight end enters his sixth NFL season: “Kick some freaking ass.”

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Claire penned a touching tribute to Kittle on the eve of training camp, in which she called the three-time Pro Bowler “a badass.”

“Year 6 comin in hotttt,” Claire began. “I’m so excited more than ever to watch you out there on the field this year. How is it already your 6th year?! We were told it would go fast but my goodness! I still feel like we just graduated college and are flying by the seat of our pants. I don’t really have the words to describe how proud I am of you especially how you handled yourself & worked your ass off tirelessly this past offseason.”

A fifth-round pick out of Iowa in 2017, Kittle has emerged as one of the league’s biggest playmakers, logging 335 receptions for 4,489 yards and 20 touchdowns in his career thus far. Through 14 regular season games last season, he had 71 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns.

Kittle and the 49ers advanced to the NFC Championship game earlier this year, but fell short of a Super Bowl berth when they lost to their division rival Rams, 20-17. With the 2021 season now firmly in the rearview mirror, Claire — who has been married to Kittle for three years — made it clear Monday that she’s excited to see where 2022 will take them.

“Let’s freaking ride this year, I love you beyond. You’re incredible you’re a badass you amaze me kick some freaking ass,” she concluded on Instagram.

Though Kittle is locked into the Bay Area for the foreseeable future, having signed a five-year, $75 million extension in August 2020, the tides appear to be turning on the 49ers’ quarterback front. Last week, the team gave the green light for Jimmy Garoppolo to seek a trade, appearing to signal that the Trey Lance era will soon begin in San Francisco.

Regardless of who Kittle, 28, catches passes from this upcoming season, wife Claire will be there to cheer him on, whether at home or on the road.
