Gerrit Cole and his wife, Amy, are gearing up for another life-changing offseason.

On Tuesday, the wife of the Yankees ace announced that the couple is expecting their second child together, revealing on Instagram that the baby-to-be is due around New Year’s.

“Our littlest Cole is sliding into our home soon! Due at the ball drop,” Amy wrote on Instagram.

In the family photos, Amy — who welcomed son Caden with Cole in the summer of 2020 — is seen holding her baby bump while wearing a navy blue dress and Yankees jersey. Cole and his adorable mini-me sported matching pinstripes on the mound instead.

Caden, who recently celebrated his 2nd birthday, also held up a white onesie that read, “Littlest Cole 45,” a reference to his dad’s number.

Cole and Amy, a former UCLA softball player, have been married since 2016. Three years later, when Cole signed a monster nine-year, $324 million deal with the Yankees, Amy was by his side in New York to show her support.

“G’s childhood dream, realized. New York, here we come!” Amy wrote on Instagram in December 2019.

In the weeks following Cole’s Yankees signing, Amy confirmed her pregnancy in January 2020.

“New city, new team, and a new member of the family! Baby Cole is arriving in June and we are overjoyed,” she gushed on social media.

The final quarter of 2022 is shaping up to be a busy one for Cole and his family. The 31-year-old pitcher is gearing up for the final weeks of the regular season, as the team looks to hold on to their AL East lead as the playoffs loom.

The Yankees host the Twins as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday — with Cole on the mound for one of the matchups — as Minnesota continues its four-game series in The Bronx.
