If you follow the Yankees closely, you know no one hits the ball harder more consistently than Giancarlo Stanton.

Take his 121.1 MPH game-winning single in the Yankees’ Sept. 3 win over the Orioles, for example. According to Statcast, it was the hardest ball hit in the majors to that point in the season.

Stanton said the stats are “definitely pretty cool,” but setting records in advanced metrics isn’t what he sets out to do.
