If it’s holiday season, that means it’s tanking season in the NFL. 

Tank talk has been a part of the conversation surrounding the 2024 Giants for weeks now. 

As Daniel Jones was finally released as an organizational admission that he was never going to be the franchise quarterback the Giants hoped he’d become, that was the first tangible sign of resignation to this season. 

As the losses and injuries have mounted and the reality that the team has no quarterback of the future (or present), it became even clearer that 2024 is a lost cause and that it’s time to begin looking ahead.
