Those close to Tom Brady are questioning why Gisele Bündchen’s trip to Costa Rica with their kids includes Joaquim Valente, a Miami-based jiujitsu instructor, according to TMZ.

The supermodel, 42, was seen grabbing dinner with Valente, along with her son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, on Saturday in exclusive photos obtained by Page Six, sparking romance rumors after her divorce with Brady was finalized recently.

A source connected to Bündchen told the outlet that she is not dating Valente, and that his brother accompanied them on the trip to Costa Rica — where she vacationed with Brady in the offseason.

However, a Brady source told TMZ that the quarterback’s camp is not buying it, and questioned “why this Miami guy is in Costa Rica with her.”

The source added, “It always seemed weird she just one day abruptly ended the marriage.”

It’s unclear if Brady’s 15-year-old son Jack, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan, is in Costa Rica with the family.

Bündchen has reportedly known Valente for at least a year and a half. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel took jiujitsu lessons from Valente and his brothers Pedro and Gui, and later signed up her kids for training.

In February, Bündchen took to Instagram to share that she was taking self-defense classes with Valente and his brothers, describing the siblings as “awesome teachers” who make training “so much fun.”

At the time, Brady playfully responded to the clip on Twitter, writing, “My days of leaving dishes in the sink are numbered.”

Last Thursday, the Valente brothers shared an Instagram video promoting a recent photoshoot they did with Bündchen for “Dust” magazine

In September, Page Six was first to report that Brady and Bündchen’s martial issues started with a fight over the quarterback’s decision to un-retire from the NFL. Brady announced that he was returning for a 23rd season in March, ending his 40-day retirement.

Bündchen and Brady both confirmed in separate statements last month that they ended their marriage after 13 years. The Buccaneers star said that the pair finalized their divorce sometime in October, and that the split was amicable.

Neither Bündchen nor Brady has addressed the photos.
