The topic: With one of ESPN’s Big 3 insiders, Jeff Passan, re-signing with the network, what is the future for the other two? Adrian Wojnarowski and Adam Schefter can be free agents in the summer of 2022.

Some news first: When we reported Passan is back, we didn’t have numbers in the story. Passan just signed a new four-year contract worth in the neighborhood of $4 million total, according to sources. The MLB insider originally signed an ESPN rookie deal for three years and around $1.3 million. So he received a substantial raise.

Who changes the game: Wojnarowski and Schefter are already making multi-million-dollar annual salaries. Their potential free agency next summer could be another game-changer for the insider salary scale and for sports media personnel moves.
