The Islanders yesterday traded a fourth-round pick in next month’s Entry Draft to Anaheim for 20-year-old right wing Trent Hunter, who played in juniors last season.

Hunter, a 6-foot-3, 195-pounder, was fourth in the WHL with 46 goals. The Isles signed him to a three-year deal, which the Mighty Ducks were unable to accomplish.

In addition, Nashville picked up Islander wingers Mike Watt and Sean Haggerty off waivers. Both will be free agents on July 1.
