Each year as a beat writer watching training camp, you try to evaluate the team and all elements of it.

It is not always easy to get a full picture in camp. There is no tackling. The offense and defense face off day after day, familiarity builds, and one side can sometimes figure out what the other is doing.

But still I try … and I always get a few things wrong.
