Take flight with the Jets
Text with Brian Costello all season as he brings Sports+ subscribers the latest Jets intel from on the field and off.
SIGN UP NOWINDIANAPOLIS — There is a good chance when the NFL draft arrives in two months, the Jets will be living on the edge.
With no quarterbacks expected to be worthy of the No. 2 pick, the Jets are likely going to be looking at taking the best defensive player and that should be an edge rusher.
There are three edge players considered above the rest and each comes with questions — Ohio State’s Arvell Reese, Texas Tech’s David Bailey and Miami’s Rueben Bain Jr.
All three are here at the NFL scouting combine. They met with reporters Wednesday and will go through on-field drills Thursday.
