The Jets did what they could. But even they couldn’t give this game away.
Despite multiple on-brand mistakes that threatened to end their faint postseason hopes, the Jets recovered from a scoreless first half to snap their five-game losing streak Thursday night as Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdowns in a 21-13 win over the Texans at MetLife Stadium.
Garrett Wilson stole the show in interim coach Jeff Ulbrich’s first victory, making nine catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
Wilson’s final score, an Odell Beckham-like one-handed 26-yard grab that put the Jets ahead for the first time in early in the fourth quarter, was one of the best catches you will ever see.
