In the NFL, teams cannot win games playing not to lose. They cannot win games without a functioning starting quarterback. And they cannot win games when their coaches continue to make decisions that make even the casual fans scratch their heads.

On Sunday in London, the Jets did all of those things.

The most disturbing element to the Jets’ 0-6 record — they’re the league’s only winless team — after Sunday’s inexplicable 13-11 loss to the Broncos is they’ve gotten there by doing the very things new head coach Aaron Glenn was going to avoid.

Glenn, the former star cornerback for the Jets, is a disciple of Bill Parcells. And Parcells’ hallmark in coaching winning teams was making sure his teams didn’t beat themselves.
