It is no secret the Giants are in the market for help for their defensive line and that they will use the upcoming NFL Draft to bolster. Yesterday, the team signed free agent Keith Washington, a 30-year old journeyman defensive end.

Washington will be the third end for the Giants, providing depth for starters Michael Strahan and Kenny Holmes. The 6-4, 275-pound Washington has played for four teams in his nine-year career – the Vikings, Lions, Ravens and Broncos. He played in 10 games a year ago for the Broncos, and in 97 regular-season games in his career has made 17 starts. Washington has eight career sacks.
