Joe Benigno, longtime symbol of Jets pain, wants Rex Ryan back to coach his tormented team.

“I’m telling ya — If Rex winds up being the Jets coach, I’ll be doing the lambada,” Benigno, the longtime radio personality, was saying not long after the Jets completed their interview with Ryan in Palm Beach, Fla., on Tuesday. “And I got a lot of moves, bro. For a guy that’s 71, ya know, I am very Travolta-esque in my ability to shake and bake.”

Benigno believes that Ryan has learned plenty since last coaching the 2016 Bills.

“And I think he’s got a major, major chip on his shoulder with something to prove, which I absolutely love,” Benigno said.
