Kenny Pickett’s fiancée, Amy Paternoster, was decked out in her Steelers best for Saturday’s preseason win over the Jaguars.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Paternoster — who has supported Pittsburgh’s rookie quarterback throughout his NFL journey — paired her Steelers crop top with black denim shorts and a black Hermès belt, all the while flaunting her black-and-gold manicure.
“Black and gold everythang,” Paternoster captioned the snap.

APPickett, who was selected 20th overall by the Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft, had another impressive outing over the weekend, completing six of seven attempts for 76 yards and one touchdown in the Steelers’ 16-15 victory against the Jaguars.
Despite two solid performances from Pickett, 24, however, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin isn’t in a rush to cement the team’s depth chart just yet.
“We’ll address depth chart-related things over the next couple of days as we zero in on our next opportunity,” Tomlin said postgame, per NFL.com. “I don’t make knee-jerk reactions or statements following the performance.”
Leading up to Saturday’s preseason game, Tomlin expressed that he wanted Pickett to see “more varsity action.”

Mason Rudolph has been in Pittsburgh since 2018, when the team drafted him 76th overall. Mitch Trubisky, meanwhile, signed a two-year, $14.25 million deal with the team in March. He spent the first four years of his NFL career in Chicago before serving as Josh Allen’s backup in Buffalo for the 2021 season.
Trubisky entered the preseason as the heavy favorite to win the job, but consecutive impressive performances by Pickett has added some intrigue to the situation.
When the Steelers do open the season against the Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 11, expect Paternoster to be modeling her beloved “black and gold” once more.
