QUARTERBACKS:

More accurate and crisp passing from Eli Manning (23 of 41, 244 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), who should have had two more TDs and 86 more passing yards.

RUNNING BACKS: B

Production (16-80 rushing, 6-49 receiving) was not as gaudy as previous games for Tiki Barber.

WIDE RECEIVERS: C+

What would have been an instant 7-0 Giants lead never materialized because Plaxico Burress (3-40) failed to hold on to a 50-yard pass.

TIGHT ENDS: C

Lack of focus and maturity cost Jeremy Shockey (2-18) when he started complaining to official rather than finishing play on INT.

OFFENSIVE LINE: B-

Manning was sacked just once in 41 pass attempts but one TD was called back on Chris Snee holding penalty.

DEFENSIVE LINE: B

Pro Bowl DEs Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora were given special attention and neither dominated.

LINEBACKERS: B-

Impressive anticipation by Chase Blackburn on 31-yard INT for TD. Big sack by Nick Greisen, but this is a problem area.

SECONDARY: F

What a time for CB Will Allen to suffer meltdowns, physically and mentally. Positively torched by Santana Moss.

SPECIAL TEAMS: B

Chad Morton had a 41-yard kickoff return but David Tyree made a rare mental blunder when he was pushed out of bounds and then re-entered the field.

KICKING GAME: C+

Jay Feely hit FGs of 47 and 38 yards but had what should have been a routine 29-yarder blocked because he kicked it too low, which is troubling.

COACHING: C

Sense of urgency wasn’t translated from Tom Coughlin to his team. Still wonder why Barber averaged five yards per carry but got only 16 rushing attempts.
