With the opening of training camp two days away, the Jets are down to only one unsigned player – fourth-round draft pick Jason Wiltz, a defensive tackle out of Nebraska.

The Jets yesterday signed sixth-round pick J.P. Machado, a 6-3, 306-pound guard out of Illinois.

Machado, a former defensive tackle, was a versatile lineman in college, where he played every position on the line. The Jets will be working him in at guard, where they’re seeking starters on both the right and left sides.
