After losing to Miguel Cotto in June, Brooklyn’s Paulie Malignaggi is ready to return to the ring and start winning again.

Malignaggi, known as the Magic Man, faces Edner (Cherry Bomb) Cherry in a lightweight bout at Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Feb. 17. It will be televised on HBO.

Malignaggi (21-1, 5 KOs) had won 21 straight fights before losing to Cotto. Cherry is 21-4-2, with 10 KOs.
