Marion Jones cheated her country, her relay teammates, her opponents, and the Olympic movement.

Now she wants to cheat the federal penetentiary in Fort Worth of two more months of her pathetic presence by applying to President George Bush for a pardon and sentence commutation. Fortunately, Bush is as unlikely to grant it as Jones apparently is to completely understand the price to be paid for lying to federal prosecutors and participating in a check-fraud scam.
