The thrill is still there for future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer, a Jays starter.
“This one means just as much as the first one,” Scherzer, who’s playing in a fourth World Series for his fourth franchise (Tigers, Nats, Rangers), told The Post. “I’m just appreciative of all the opportunities I’ve gotten. I’m so blessed.
“I’m enjoying it just as much as ever,” added Scherzer (who tied Lonnie Smith at four: Phillies, Cardinals, Royals, Braves).
