Yes, the Mets have the usual number of noteworthy early injuries, but let’s not let that obscure the fact that a lot of good stuff is going on in their camp.

Here are some of the most positive things happening for the team from Queens:

1. Kodai Senga was “really poppin’ ” in his spring debut, according to a scout. While that isn’t a technical term, that’s maybe the best news of a lot of positive news down here. We truly missed the ghost fork in 2024, and he only threw one in his game down here. If he’s back — and it’s back — that would be huge.
