Which brings us to the Mets’ No. 1 issue with 10 days to go before the trade deadline. Yep, it’s that very pen, the group that rarely hears from us unless things start to go wrong.

The well-used bullpen did hold on to salvage the finale 3-2 over the surprising Reds before a sellout crowd at Citi Field on Sunday after blowing a lead in the eighth inning. But Mets relievers are obviously tuckered out from unavoidable overuse.
