Sixty-eight teams are starting their engines for the road to Indianapolis for the 2026 Final Four.

Here’s a look at the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament as March Madness gets set to tip off Tuesday:

Post-ing up: Ranked in the top five — and at times at No. 1 — for almost the whole season, the Wolverines have risen to an elite level in May’s second season, led by Big Ten Player of the Year (and UAB transfer) Yaxel Lendeborg, a senior forward. A balanced scoring attack features four players who average double digits in scoring, complementing a tenacious all-around defense. Aday Mara, a 7-foot-3 junior, is one of the best rim protectors in the country.
