The Nets’ off-season makeover continued yesterday as Ted Arzonico, the head trainer for the past eight years and a member of the organization for 11 years, resigned his position “to pursue other career interest,” the team announced.

The Nets finished 31-51 and out of the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons. Prior to Arzonico, the Nets fired coach Don Casey, re-assigned team president Michael Rowe and hired Rod Thorn as president.
