The highly anticipated 2022 NFL Draft has come and gone, and it was well worth the wait.

There were stunning picks, wild trades and a big few days for the Giants and Jets

Let’s break it all down:

What will we remember most about this draft?

The dearth of quarterbacks selected. Only one quarterback (Kenny Pickett, Steelers) was drafted in the first round. And the second quarterback (Desmond Ridder, Falcons) wasn’t drafted until the third round. Some considered Liberty quarterback Malik Willis a potential first-round pick, but he didn’t go until the Titans took him in the third round at No. 86 overall. The narrative entering the draft was that this was an exceedingly weak quarterback class, and the selections mirrored that talk. However, this will not be a trend. Next year’s class is loaded at the top with two potential No. 1 overall selections — Bryce Young of Alabama and C.J. Stroud of Ohio State — playing the position.
