The National Football League sued the owner of a Web site yesterday in what is believed to be the first-ever action in the new, tougher cyber-squatting enforcement world.
The NFL filed suit in Manhattan Federal Court against 38-year-old Californian Ken Miller, who has run NFLToday.com, a betting site, for just over a year. The league has aggressively attacked anyone who infringed on the NFL mark and the battle has now leapt into cyberspace.
