Prime Time is returning to television.

Deion Sanders will be a studio analyst for the NFL Network, The Post has learned. An official announcement is expected to come next week.

Sanders, 39, will work the network’s NFL GameDay show, which is a 90-minute Sunday highlight wrap-up program. He will also be a part of the network’s pre-game show when it starts its new late season eight-game Thursday-Saturday package. Each pregame show will be live at the site of the networks’ games.

“We’ve had talks with Deion,” NFL Network spokesman Seth Palansky said. “We are hopeful we can announce something soon.”

Before un-retiring in 2004 to join the Ravens, Sanders was outspoken as an analyst on CBS’ NFL Today. He left television and returned to the field after CBS offered $1.3 million, which was $700,000 less than Sanders felt he deserved.

While it is not exactly known what Sanders is being paid, he had to lower his contract demands this time around. Sanders’ salary expectations were one of the reasons that ESPN recently lost interest in signing him.

Sanders’ name was brought up as a replacement for James Brown on Fox’s pregame, but Fox was never really interested. CBS had no openings for him and NBC chose to ignore his services.
