Along with the rest of New York City, the Off-Track Betting Corp. today begins the task of getting back to business. OTB, closed since Tuesday, plans to take bets on full cards from five thoroughbred tracks: Finger Lakes, Calder, Delaware, Philadelphia Park and Louisiana Downs.

A limited number of races will be offered on the “bridge” (evening) tracks, Fairplex, Hoosier and Great Lakes, before the normal harness racing schedule resumes tonight.

Phone betting will be available and most OTB parlors will be open, although it is undetermined if the races will be simulcast on cable TV.
