It’ll be a tale of two teams at opposite ends of the hockey spectrum when the Devils host the Penguins today.

The Devils, three points off the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, are one of the hottest teams in the league and are perched comfortably atop the Atlantic Division. The Penguins, on the other hand, are at the bottom of the division and struggling to make the playoffs.

Now that the Pens have traded Alexei Kovalev basically for cash and left owner/center Mario Lemieux all alone, the Devils are figuring on today being a cakewalk. The Devils are coming off a 3-0 win over Phoenix this week and remain within striking distance of the Senators for the top spot in the conference.
