CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Experience trumps pressure.

This is what Rams head coach Sean McVay is counting on when his 12-5 team plays the 8-9 Panthers in Saturday’s NFC wild-card game at Bank of America Stadium.

The Rams, a preseason favorite to win the Super Bowl, finished second in the stacked NFC West behind Seattle and are playing the same Panthers team that stunned them, 31-28, on Nov. 30 in Charlotte.

The Rams entered that day with a 9-2 record and seemingly en route to a division title, which would have made this a home playoff game for them.
