The extra effort Alexis Lafrenière has put into his net-front role is paying dividends. 

Not just the added reps he’s taken before, during and after practices lately, but the full-scale commitment the 2020 first overall pick has made to getting to the middle of the ice and asserting himself around the crease during games. 

Lafrenière’s six tip-in goals entering Tuesday’s 4-1 win over the Devils leads the Rangers.
