It would be surprising if the Mets don’t add, at minimum, another reliever before Tuesday’s trade deadline, and who knows, maybe president of baseball operations David Stearns has something much larger in mind.

A full decade has passed (2014) since the Mets last failed to strike at least one trade-deadline deal.
