1. Travis Hunter, Colorado, 6-0, 188
Two-way star also is WR1 and wants to play both ways. Rangy ball hawk whether left on an island or in zone. Won 2024 Chuck Bednarik Award (NCAA Defensive Player of the Year) after 15 passes defended and four interceptions. Will be forced to tackle more.
2. Will Johnson, Michigan, 6-2, 194
Preseason borderline top five prospect whose season was cut short by turf toe. Reading quarterback’s eyes led to nine interceptions (three returned for touchdowns). Offers fluidity and length to match up with bigger receivers. Overaggressive hunting the ball instead of wrapping up.

Fastest 40-yard dash (4.28 seconds) of all NFL combine prospects. Mirrors receiver movements and jumps passing lanes (six interceptions, including three pick-sixes). Plays with chip on shoulder. Slender frame not ideal for tackling after the catch, but plays bigger in run support.
