Leadoff man extraordinaire Francisco Lindor, heating up much earlier this year than usual, slammed a home run off the facing of the upper deck to start the Mets half of the first inning. The crowd, predictably, went nuts.

Jesse Winker put one into orbit to start the second. More cheers.

Lindor made it two home runs for him five innings later, blasting one to right-center, almost the very spot visited by Winker. Delirium now!

Happy noise is the soundtrack for a dream Mets beginning.
