The day after St. John’s top booster said the school has to do whatever it takes to ensure Rick Pitino retires in Queens, the Hall of Fame coach addressed his future as the Red Storm coach.
“I’m not making any plans to move anywhere or do anything,” the 73-year-old Pitino said Thursday as the No. 17 Johnnies prepared to face Providence on Saturday. “So if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t happen, it’s not a big deal.”
